ipf electronic gmbh develops and produces at its headquarters in Altena in the Sauerland region industrial sensors and electronics for automation technology. The extensive product portfolio comprises around 50 product groups: optical, inductive, capacitive and ultrasonic sensor solutions, light barriers, pressure sensors, rotary encoders, camera and high-speed camera systems, compressed air leak detection devices as well as gateways for energy monitoring and process data acquisition. In addition to its standard program, the company offers the development of custom solutions – from the initial idea through design and prototype construction to production and shipping, all from a single source. Founded in 1982, the company is family-run in its second generation and employs around 140 staff. Deliveries are made throughout the German-speaking region; with the TECHNIK ON TOUR offering, the technical sales team presents the products directly on-site at the customer's premises.
