About IPM Handels GmbH
IPM Handels GmbH is a medium-sized company founded in Regensburg in 2004 in the field of product sourcing management for mechanical engineering and wear parts. The company organizes production in the areas of casting (sand casting, investment/precision casting, art casting), forging (die and open-die forging), welded assemblies and machining (turning, milling, grinding) as well as tool and mold making through a worldwide network of long-standing cooperation partners and manufacturers. Processes and materials range from grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron and cast steel according to DIN EN 1561, 1563 and 10293, via special alloys, brass and bronze, to nitriding, heat-treatable and case-hardening steels as well as stainless steel. Component sizes range from small pins to sand castings up to 35 t and open-die forgings up to approx. 110 t. Customers come from industries such as general mechanical engineering, plant engineering, energy technology/power plant construction, mining, shipbuilding and agricultural machinery. From prototype to large-scale production, IPM Handels GmbH accompanies the sourcing process including development, quality assurance, deadline tracking and logistics.
