About us
ISA Industriesteuerungs- und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, headquartered in Merchweiler (Saarland), was founded in 1994 as a garage start-up with four employees and today employs 53 staff. Its main field of business is electrical plant construction: in its own workshop, the company manufactures low-voltage switchgear assemblies as well as control and operator stations, based on its own or customer-supplied circuit diagrams (CAE with EPLAN P8). In addition, the company offers complete automation solutions for special machine construction and plant engineering – from project planning and hardware design, PLC and robot programming, HMI/SCADA visualization, drive and safety technology through to electrical assembly, commissioning, retrofit and documentation. In the retrofit area, the team dismantles and relocates entire systems to other sites. Its customers come primarily from medical technology, heavy industry, the automotive industry and special machine construction; work is carried out worldwide according to the respective plant operator's specifications and in their language. Managing Director is Dipl. Ing. (FH) Hardy Wahl; the company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV Rheinland).

SCADA systems
Supervisory and visualization systems from a single workstation to server-client systems with redundancy, including Siemens WinCC, PCS7 and Rockwell Allen Bradley.
Drive technology
From servo drives to hydraulic power units, using systems from SEW, Siemens, Schneider and Vacon.
Safety technology
Risk assessment and implementation of the required Performance Level in accordance with the Machinery Directive using Pilz (PNOZmulti, PSS4000, PSENlock, PSENcode) and Siemens F-CPUs.
Robotics
Programming and setup of robot systems, including those from ABB, Epson and Fanuc.
Industrial image processing
