About us

ISAB Oberflächentechnik GmbH was founded in 2014 by Andreas Bergmann in Karlstein am Main and trades as Industrieservices Andreas Bergmann (ISAB). Building on the more than 70 years of experience of Braunbeck GmbH Industrieverchromungen, the company offers — in alliance with Braunbeck and ISAB Technology — a broad spectrum of surface technology services: electroplated and chemical coatings (copper, tin, nickel, silver, gold, zinc, ZnFe, ZnNi), hard chrome plating, powder coating, KTL coating, blasting, paint stripping, browning, phosphating, passivation and bright pickling, as well as metallization of ceramic components. In addition, machining services such as milling, turning, cylindrical and surface grinding, lapping and polishing are offered, along with complete manufacturing and assembly of assemblies including welded parts. Materials processed include steels, high-alloy steels, non-ferrous metals, aluminium and zinc die casting, but also ceramics and special materials. Customers come, among others, from mechanical engineering, electrical/ceramic engineering, and the motorcycle and vintage vehicle scene (parts and wheel rim refurbishment). The two plants in Karlstein serve small and large series as well as individual parts for customers throughout Germany.
