About Isabella Bilstein Keramik
Isabella Bilstein Keramik is a pottery studio in Cologne Deutz where handcrafted functional ceramics and sculptural hand-built ceramics are produced. The range includes its own collections of hand-thrown mugs, cups, bowls, plates and vases as well as individual custom commissions of functional pottery. The pieces are created on the potter's wheel and through free modelling in clay, followed by glazing and firing in the studio's own workshop, partly using firing techniques such as saggar firing and raku firing. In addition to production, in-person courses in a pottery workshop in Cologne Weidenpesch, online courses, a firing service for external potters and pottery events are offered. The studio at Reischplatz in Cologne-Deutz also serves as a sales outlet with an online shop.
