ISAR GETRIEBETECHNIK GMBH & CO. KG is a supplier and manufacturer of high-speed gearboxes, test stand gearboxes, gears, gearbox components and custom special gearboxes based in Ismaning near Munich. The company develops and manufactures spur gear, planetary, bevel gear, hypoid and worm gearboxes as well as lightweight-design gearboxes and gearboxes with carbon shafts in a power range from 0.1 to 2,000 kW. Toothed components are manufactured in diameters from 1 to 1,000 mm with high gear qualities, low profile deviation and high concentricity; typical lot sizes range between 1 and 99 units. In addition to gearbox development and prototype construction, the company also realizes high-speed test stands and test stand gearboxes with speeds of up to over 100,000 rpm and power ratings of 50 to 3,000 kW. Assembly is documented. Customers include the automotive industry, aerospace, commercial and special vehicle manufacturers, e-mobility, motorsport and the machine tool industry.
