About ISBA AG
ISBA AG is an independent Swiss family company based in Zwingen (BL), specialising in daylight systems since 1939. The product range includes light domes made of acrylic glass, Polytec and Heatstop, flat-roof windows and glass skylights with ESG/VSG glazing, light bands, shed and wall glazing with polycarbonate multiwall sheets, blackout flaps made of glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin (GRP), glass floors as well as SHEV controls from compact to modular control units. Production takes place at the company's own site in Zwingen, including custom-made special constructions to measure; thermally separated aluminium profiles, galvanised steel, stainless steel and CFC-free materials (eco polyester resin, PU foam) are used. The service portfolio ranges from planning of SHEV systems and installation by seven teams throughout Switzerland to commissioning, maintenance and repair. Reference projects include, among others, St. Jakob-Park Basel with over 3000 light domes, the Roche Tower, the Rolex Learning Center Lausanne and Novartis Muttenz.

Materials and Processes
Acrylic glass (Plexiglas)
Standard material for light domes; alternatively Polytec for maximum impact resistance and fire class, or Heatstop to reduce heat build-up by up to 50%.
Polycarbonate (multiwall sheets with co-extruded UV protection)
For shed and wall glazing as well as light bands; U-values down to 0.82 W/m2K and fire behaviour B-s1 d0 according to EN 13501-1.
Glass-fibre reinforced polyester resin (eco polyester resin, CFC-free)
Material for blackout flaps and wedge frames made of polyester sandwich with PU foam core (U-value down to 0.29 W/m2K).
Single-pane and laminated safety glass
Burglar-resistant, 2- to 3-fold insulating glazing for flat-roof windows, glass skylights and shed glazing with argon/krypton thermal insulation gas.
Aluminium (thermally separated, powder-coated/thermo-lacquered)
Profiles for frames, shed and wall glazing systems in RAL or NCS colours.
Galvanised steel
For frames of light bands and steel-polyester frames of skylights.
Stainless steel
Self-developed Click clamp mounting system for screwless, fast dome installation with guaranteed dilatation.
