ISCAR Hartmetall AG, based in Frauenfeld/TG, is a subsidiary of ISCAR LTD (Israel) and is responsible for the Swiss market. The company manufactures special carbide inserts and special tools from cemented carbide in a state-of-the-art facility, including customized cutting inserts and turning inserts for punching and die cutting, die turning, ISO turning, and thread turning, as well as tools for milling, turning, punching, and drilling applications. A fully automated warehouse ensures quick order processing and timely nationwide delivery throughout Switzerland. Switzerland is divided into six sales regions, serviced by regionally based field staff and application engineers. In addition to manufacturing, ISCAR offers technical support for planning and product use, telephone support, as well as seminars and training in in-house training rooms and a Tech Center in Frauenfeld. Customer industries include Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, and general metalworking.
