About ISD System
The ISD System GmbH, founded in 1998, is a software and automation company based in Bempflingen (Baden-Württemberg). The focus is on the development of custom automation solutions for mechanical engineering: measurement, control and regulation technology (PLC programming, including Siemens TIA, Beckhoff, CoDeSys), visualization and supervisory control systems, robotics for the manufacturers ABB, Epson and Stäubli, image processing, and PC application development. Realized projects include machines for PCB manufacturing, testing and rotary indexing table machines, assembly systems for the automotive industry, paint pouring and coating systems, oven and drying systems, printing machines for the textile industry, and production lines for solar technology. Since 2019, the company has been building its own robot cells for PCB handling (loading, unloading, aligning, testing, flipping) based on Epson SCARA robots (type LS20, 20 kg payload, 1,000 mm arm reach); since 2020, complete robot cells have been offered, of which 25 machines are in operation worldwide. Customer projects are realized in Germany, Europe, the USA and Asia, including consulting and service after completion.
