About ISIB Dr. Möll
Since 1979, ISIB Dr. Möll GmbH has been active as a partner to industry and the skilled trades in welding technology, uniting under one roof an institute for welding technology, an engineering consultancy, a testing laboratory and the ISIB Academy. Its service portfolio includes welding inspections and construction supervision in accordance with DIN EN ISO, non-destructive testing methods (VT, PT, MT, UT) as well as destructive materials tests such as chemical analyses, tensile tests and Charpy impact tests on steels, aluminium and other metals. The engineering consultancy performs structural calculations, planning and approval testing in structural steelwork and racking construction in accordance with DIN 18800-7 and DIN EN 1090 Part 2, including Europe-wide approval of new racking systems. In addition, corrosion protection work in accordance with EN ISO 12944 is supervised, damage cases are assessed, and welders and welding supervision personnel are trained and certified in accordance with DVS guidelines. The company is based in Darmstadt.

Quality and Accreditation
The testing laboratory has been accredited since 1991; since 1997 there has also been an accreditation for welding personnel training. Certified staff assess welds in accordance with DIN EN ISO requirements and accompany procedure qualifications in accordance with the relevant standards.
