ISKO Information GmbH is a portal operator based in Haan / Rhineland. Since 1996, the company has been one of the first providers to develop and operate supplier search engines as well as specialized and industry portals. The first major portals were Industriebedarf.de, Stahlhandel.de, Maschinen.de, Arbeitsschutz.com, and Messtechnik.com; over time, more than 2,200 industries were added. All portals are operated under the umbrella of Schnelle-Seiten.de and are networked in such a way that products and services can be queried and found in each of the 2,845 portals. Due to the regional narrowing of the search, the portals also function as local and regional directories in the B2B sector. The portals list manufacturers, dealers, and service companies with company profiles, address data, and product information, including the industry portal Modelltechnik.net.
