Since 1996, ISKO Information GmbH has been one of the first companies in the German-speaking region active in the field of digital industry portals. Under the product brand Schnelle-Seiten.de, the company based in Haan develops and operates supplier search engines as well as specialist and industry portals. The first major portals were Industriebedarf.de, Stahlhandel.de, Maschinen.de, Arbeitsschutz.com and Messtechnik.com. Over the years, more than 2,200 industries were added; according to the company's own statements, the network comprises 2,845 interconnected portals. All products and services can be queried and found in every portal and narrowed down regionally and locally, so that the portals simultaneously serve as local and regional portals for the B2B sector. The Stahlhandel.de portal lists steel manufacturers, steel traders and service providers from the D-A-CH region with addresses and company information.
