About ISKOmed

Under the ISKOmed brand, ISKO Koch GmbH has been manufacturing care and special beds, examination and treatment couches as well as stand-up devices and mobility aids for over 30 years. The products are used in nursing homes, homes for the elderly and disabled, rehabilitation facilities, medical practices and clinics, and in home care. Production takes place at the company's own plant in Bayreuth, where in addition to the series products, custom-made solutions regarding lying surface size, material and design are also implemented. The substructures are made of steel or stainless steel, the lying surfaces of soft foam with a washable, disinfectant-resistant synthetic leather cover; wooden elements are made of beech or beech-effect finish. Electric lifting systems with motors including those from Linak, Li-ion battery systems and programmable hand controls are part of the product equipment. The company operates a certified quality management system according to ISO 13485, and many products are listed with medical device numbers in the GKV medical aids directory.
