Engineering Association for Vibration Measurement Technology
ISM Leuna GbR is an engineering association founded in 1996, based at the Leuna site near Halle/Leipzig, specialising in vibration measurement technology and machine diagnostics. The field of vibration measurement technology at the Leuna site has existed for more than half a century; every single engineer has at least 25 years of professional experience. The independent, accredited testing facility handles all tasks involving fast signals such as vibrations, displacement and pressure changes as well as structure-borne and airborne sound using state-of-the-art measurement technology. The range of services includes vibration measurements, vibration analysis, machine diagnostics, in-situ balancing, other measurements as well as condition monitoring as the basis of condition-based maintenance. The assessment of machine condition and the diagnosis of incipient damage help operators of chemical plants, power plants and manufacturing companies to ensure the availability, operational safety and service life of their machines. Assessment is carried out by ISO 18436-2 certified personnel.
