About ISMET

ISMET GmbH is a product brand of REDUR GmbH & Co. KG and develops and manufactures transformers, reactors, filters and other inductive components for industrial applications. The range extends from stock items for switchgear and control cabinet construction through customer-specifically optimized standard products to individually designed special transformers for melting furnaces, ionization systems or wind and solar energy. ISMET manufactures transformers up to 5 MVA, voltages up to 36 kV, currents up to 15,000 A and a total weight of up to 10 t; reactors are offered up to a total weight of 6 t. With a high level of in-house manufacturing depth, winding, core assembly, welding, soldering, impregnation, potting, assembly and 100% final inspection are all handled in-house – from one-off pieces to large series and up to complete cooled switchgear solutions. Customers include mechanical and plant engineering, drive and automation technology, rail infrastructure, power distribution, mining and crane technology. In addition to its headquarters in Niederzier, the brand manufactures at sites in the Czech Republic (ismet transformátory s.r.o.) and India (Phoenix Mecano India) and delivers worldwide.
