About Isochronic
Isochronic AG was founded in 2020 near Lausanne (Denges, canton of Vaud, Switzerland) and develops simultaneous Pick-&-Place robotics for industrial automation. The systems of the company, which has around 15 employees, combine several independently moving gripper heads on linear rails with a proprietary software and control platform, enabling several parts to be transferred simultaneously and without idle travel. Core products are the laser automation systems iSort 3015, iSort 4020, iSort 6025 and iSort 8025 as well as material handling and sorting solutions for sheet metal processing, including gripper heads and gripper magazines. The technology is protected by several patent families and is integrated into existing automation systems as modular, standardized components; it increases throughput and flexibility while reducing floor space and energy requirements. First heavy-duty laser automation systems are running in industrial production, for example at metal processor KUIPERS technologies GmbH; the small-parts technology is in industrialization. In 2025/2026 an agreement was reached for the company to be acquired by the Bystronic Group, with Isochronic continuing under its own name.
