Isocoll Chemie GmbH, headquartered in Nördlingen, has been an internationally active manufacturer of butyl adhesives and sealants, sealant compounds and their converting for over 30 years. The company belongs to the Gerlinger Group and produces at its headquarters in Nördlingen as well as at the Erkelenz plant (Industriestraße 45, Wegberg) with modern equipment. The portfolio includes butyl rubber sealant compounds, polyisobutylene hotmelts, butyl tapes with and without carrier, butyl round cords with and without core, primary butyl and extrudates as well as die-cut parts made of butyl rubber. In addition, Isocoll offers the coating and lamination of underlay membranes, sealing films, PVC, EPDM, NBR and butyl sheets with thermoplastic, reactive and pressure-sensitive adhesives – full-surface or as an open adhesive web. The range of services extends from research and development of proprietary adhesive and sealant formulations to private-label and contract manufacturing, cartridge filling, converting and simulation of automated sealant application systems at the customer's site. Customers are primarily the insulating glass, solar, automotive and construction industries as well as the HVAC, ventilation, metal construction and white goods sectors.
