About Isolith
ISOLITH M. Hattinger Ges.m.b.H. is an Austrian manufacturer of wood wool lightweight boards with its production site in Straßwalchen/Salzburg. Founded in 1956 by Michael Hattinger, the family-run company has been producing mineral-bound boards from the raw materials wood, water and cement for 70 years, with cement and wood sourced predominantly regionally and in any case from Austria, and only PEFC-certified wood being used. The product range includes lightweight boards, compact building boards, multilayer boards, ceiling formwork angles as well as façade, attic and basement ceiling insulation elements for thermal, acoustic and fire protection. In recent years, production has specialised in multilayer boards for the building construction sector; in the field of room acoustics and design, there is a partnership with the Latvian manufacturer CEWOOD, whose acoustic panels made of wood wool and cement are distributed. Sales are handled exclusively through the building materials trade, supplemented by a delivery service.
