About ISOMAG

ISOMAG GmbH specialises in the development, production, distribution and trading of refractory products and foundry auxiliaries. Founded in 1987, the company supplies the steel industry as well as foundries in the heavy and light metal sectors. The product range includes synthetic ladle slags (SYNTOP), slide gate filling sand (SFS), insulating covering agents for ladle and tundish (MAGNOLIGHT POWDER), exothermic covering agents and covering plates for ingot casting (ISO EX 26, EXOPLATE), highly exothermic anti-piping powder (THERMO D3) as well as prefused slags for the electroslag remelting process (AKF based on alumina, lime and fluorspar). In addition to manufacturing, ISOMAG offers the optimisation of metallurgical processes and tailor-made concept development in the refractory and foundry sectors, including individual slag compositions and small quantities for trial purposes. The production facility has been located in Kraubath an der Mur since 2014, with the company headquarters in Hart bei Graz.
