About IsoTek
IsoTek GmbH, based in Möckmühl, has been a specialist in electrical insulation for transformer construction for over 25 years. The family-owned company develops and manufactures customised complete solutions and components for power, distribution and traction transformers, electric motors and generators, including in wind power and hydroelectric installations. The portfolio includes winding cylinders, winding strips, spacers, strip mats, dimple/stud tape, pill blankets with ceramic pills, wet-moulded parts, crepe tubes, shield rings, electrode-formed parts such as bushing caps, deflectors and lead-out tubes, as well as prefabricated lead assemblies with pre-assembled lead copper and CNC-milled parts. Materials processed include mica (muscovite, phlogopite), laminated compressed materials, laminated wood, mineral pressed materials, wet process material, ceramics and copper. The subsidiary Segliwa GmbH has been complementing the range with electrotechnical insulating materials for over 60 years. Production takes place at the Möckmühl sites (Wilhelm-Maybach-Straße 2 and Nordstraße 32) as well as in Bayreuth.
