About ISRA VISION
ISRA VISION is a provider of automation solutions in the field of industrial image processing (machine vision), headquartered in Darmstadt. The company develops, installs and maintains systems for surface inspection, 3D robot guidance and automated metrology. Its solutions are used among others in the automotive, battery, glass, solar, transportation and packaging industries; these also include inline inspection systems for web goods such as steel, non-ferrous metals, plastic films, paper, cardboard, nonwovens, composite materials, printed products, solar cells and semiconductor wafers. The systems use high-resolution cameras, LED lighting, point cloud sensors and software with image processing, machine learning and deep learning for real-time defect detection and classification. ISRA VISION forms the core of the Machine Vision Solutions (MVS) division within the Atlas Copco Group and is represented through its network in more than 180 countries. As of July 2023, the company employed around 1,200 people worldwide at 25 locations.
