About ISS-Automation
ISS-Automation GmbH, based in Gronau (Westf.)-Epe, specialised in the integration and automation of logistics systems and developed the associated software and control technology. The focus was on control and integration technology for sorting systems, in particular PLC programming and the interplay of actuators and sensors to create complete solutions. The portfolio included sorting and sequencing of hanging garments and GOH, parcel and mail sorting, eCommerce and store supply, as well as logistics software such as Warehouse Control, SCADA, Analytics and CMMS. In 2017, KNAPP AG acquired a majority stake in the company, and in 2024 KNAPP took over all shares. As part of an integration phase from April to September 2025, the company was merged into Dürkopp Fördertechnik GmbH (DFT) and was deleted from the commercial register on 12.12.2025. The Gronau site remains a permanent part of the DFT corporate structure.
