ISS Industrie Sortier Service GmbH, based in Homberg (Efze), was founded in 1997 and has since been active as a quality assurance service, engineering and logistics partner for industry and suppliers in Germany and Europe. The company, with around 80 employees, offers sorting, rework, materials testing as well as visual and dimensional quality inspections. In addition, non-destructive material tests such as magnetic particle, penetrant, ultrasonic and eddy current testing, incoming goods inspections, audits, final inspections, goods filtering and assembly work are performed. A key focus is the inspection and rework of medical devices, in a cleanroom on request. On more than 3,000 square metres of inspection and storage space, the teams work with measuring and reworking tools as well as specialised testing equipment; assignments take place at the customer's site, at the customer's clients, or in the company's own inspection halls in Hesse, Thuringia and North Rhine-Westphalia, including its own logistics. More than 2,000 customers include supplier companies, automobile manufacturers, medical technology producers and solar component manufacturers.
