We are ISTinox
ISTinox AG (until 31.12.2025 IST-Edelstahl-Anlagenbau AG) is a stainless steel specialist process plant manufacturer headquartered in Thun-Gwatt, Switzerland. Since 1975 the company has planned, manufactured and installed plant and piping systems, tanks and vessels as well as complete process plants as a general contractor – from the initial idea to commissioning. Production is carried out exclusively in stainless steel, duplex and special materials; the manufacturing techniques include radiographically tested welding, pipe bending from DN 15 to DN 100 in ISO and DIN dimensions, pipe outlet forming with T-Drill machines as well as pickling and passivation. The portfolio also includes the Aircraft Ground Energy System (AGES) for power and air conditioning supply (PCA) of aircraft on the ground, including telescopic tubes, hose reels and aircraft couplings. Customers come from the chemical, energy, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, water supply, and infrastructure and transport industries, including Zurich Airport, Munich Airport, BKW Energie AG and BLS AG. The products are certified according to ISO 9001 as well as the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU and AD 2000.
