About us
ISUZU MOTORS Germany GmbH, based in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, is the European development and service center of ISUZU Motors Ltd. The company develops and optimizes Isuzu diesel engines, vehicles and drivetrains for the European market, including the application and calibration of engine control units. Its own test field features 8 engine test benches, 4 endurance and 4 exhaust emission roller test benches (since 2017 including a WLTP test bench), 2 cold-start test cells and a test bench for friction power investigations. Vehicles are additionally tested under extreme climate conditions such as heat, cold and altitude. The in-house workshops handle the conversion and preparation of vehicles and engines, vehicle electrics, and the installation and calibration of measuring equipment. Beyond the ISUZU Group, technical facilities, engineering know-how and tester experience are offered to external customers from the OEM, supplier, mineral oil and chemical industries as well as technical service providers. The range of services is complemented by aftersales services such as fault diagnostics and field investigations, as well as the ISUZU Training Center Europe for technical training of importers and dealers.
