Problem solver for temperature measurement tasks
Italcoppie Sensori srl has been developing and manufacturing temperature sensors, temperature transmitters and accessories for industrial applications since 1978. The product range includes resistance thermometers (Pt100/Pt1000), thermocouples (Type K, Type T), mineral-insulated sheathed sensors, sensors with integrated transmitter as well as IO-Link and Modbus-capable sensors. The in-house manufacturing depth covers metalworking, plastic injection moulding – e.g. overmoulded connectors and encapsulated cable sensors – as well as complete assembly in-house; partly proprietary special-purpose machines are used, including a fully automatic line for mineral-insulated sheathed sensors. With more than 500 employees and an annual capacity of more than six million temperature sensors, Italcoppie supplies industries such as automation technology, refrigeration, OEM professional coffee machines, household appliances, medical/laboratory, shipbuilding and ATEX applications. The products are used in over 10,000 applications worldwide. Headquarters and the largest plant are located near Cremona (Malagnino, Italy); further plants and sales locations are in Italy, Germany, Tunisia and Brazil.

Materials and processes
Stainless steel
Used for sheathed sensors, protection tubes, threaded insertion sensors, steam wands and IO-Link housings.
POM
Plastic, e.g. for a puck simulating the heat capacity of coffee powder in the brewing temperature sensor.
Plastic (injection moulding)
For overmoulded connectors and encapsulated cable glands with high robustness and water tightness.
Plastic injection moulding
Overmoulding of cable sensors and connectors in-house.
Metalworking
Machining and processing of stainless steel components for sensors and accessories.
