About ITC Bentwisch
ITC Innovations- und Trendcenter GmbH operates a technology and business center in the municipality of Bentwisch near Rostock. Across three buildings with a total of around 6,800 m² of rentable office and commercial space, of which 4,400 m² is production and manufacturing space, the company offers young firms and established businesses flexible rental space. In addition to renting out office, commercial and conference rooms for up to 50 people, the ITC supports company founders in developing their business idea, establishing regional and international network contacts, and accessing funding opportunities. The center is a member of the Federal Association of German Innovation, Technology and Start-up Centers (Bundesverband Deutscher Innovations-, Technologie- und Gründerzentren e.V.) and of the Association of Technology Centers in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Verbund der Technologiezentren in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V.). It is not a manufacturing operation in the strict sense; the commercial halls serve tenant companies as production and manufacturing space. - 2006–2007
Participation in the VNB InnoReg project (BSR Interreg III B) for regional innovation promotion; among other things, quality comparison of technology centers and support for the geoinformatics sector in a working group.
- 2007–2010
Participation in the SPb InnoReg project (BSR Interreg III B) to promote the St. Petersburg regional innovation system; contribution to a workshop manual and co-organization of a study and training trip.
