About ITM Group
The ITM Group is an international designer, manufacturer and service provider of undercarriage components and complete undercarriage solutions for tracked machines. The product range includes track chains, complete track assemblies, track shoes, rollers, idlers, sprockets and sprocket segments as well as complete undercarriages and custom frames for mining, rail, marine and special applications. Manufacturing is performed by forging and casting from boron steel or special steels according to ITM material specifications, supplemented by in-house heat treatment processes such as single-tooth hardening, deep hardening, induction hardening and carburizing. The components are fully interchangeable with original parts and cover applications from construction machinery up to mining excavators in the 1200-tonne class. ITM is a pioneer in undercarriage sensor technology with the TRUST ITM® tracking system for undercarriage monitoring. Through a global network of sales and service centers and production sites, the company supplies industries such as construction, mining, utilities, forestry, road construction and agriculture worldwide.

Materials and Processes
Boron steel
Forged sprockets, segments and track links with high wear and impact resistance.
Special steel according to ITM steel specifications
Material for cast and forged sprockets, segments, track shoes and track links.
Highly wear-resistant, deep-hardened steel
Track links for mining track systems with increased hardening depth for high loads.
Heat treatment (induction hardening, carburizing, single-tooth hardening)
Ensures uniform surface hardness, high core hardness and optimal wear and fatigue strength.
TRUST ITM® sensor technology
Undercarriage monitoring system to maximize availability, productivity and safety and to support autonomous machines.
PPR bolt retention (Positive Pin Retention)
Mechanical retention of the pins on both sides for maximum safety and easy maintenance.
Oil-lubricated chains (SALT)
Exclusive seal groups according to ITM design protect the chain joints under extreme conditions.
Bolted assembly using the turn-of-nut method
Combination of torque and turn-angle measurement for precise and uniform bolt preload.
