itschner connect AG, headquartered in Zurich, is the developer and distributor of PENDEO, a matrix system for flexibly suspending lamps and other electrical consumers. The system consists of contact units (base modules) with square openings to which connectors are attached mechanically and electrically simultaneously by plugging in and a quarter turn. PENDEO is designed for the standard household network (230 VAC) including protective earth and complies with DIN EN 61534; the geometry is touch-safe and childproof. The base modules are offered as surface-mounted and flush-mounted variants, currently in plastic in black and white, with metal versions planned. PENDEO is a registered trademark of itschner connect AG and is protected by the patents EP4131670A1 and WO2023012276A1. Fields of application are electrical installation, residential construction, rental, furniture manufacturing and do-it-yourself.
