About Iveco

Iveco S.p.A. (Industrial Vehicles Corporation) is an Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Turin, founded in 1975 as a merger of Fiat Veicoli Industriali, Lancia Veicoli Speciali, OM, UNIC and Magirus-Deutz. The core areas of production include vans, light to heavy trucks for short- and long-haul transport, buses, construction vehicles and fire-fighting vehicles. In addition, Iveco manufactures diesel engines which, alongside in-house use, are employed as industrial engines, marine engines and drives for emergency power generators. The company operates 49 factories and 15 development departments worldwide and employs around 31,000 staff. Annual production amounts to approximately 200,000 commercial vehicles and 460,000 diesel engines. In the German-speaking region, Ulm is a significant site: truck production there ended in 2012; since 2021, the electric vehicle Nikola Tre has been produced in the joint plant with Nikola. The parent company Iveco Group is listed on the Borsa Italiana.
