IVG Industrie-Verpackungs- & Transport GmbH is a family business founded in 1978 and now run in its fourth generation, based in Eschenburg-Wissenbach in the Lahn-Dill district. The company offers custom industrial packaging for single items, complete plants and series-produced industrial goods — at its own facility or on-site at the customer's premises. Items are packed in crates, boxes, lightweight crates for air freight, heavy-duty collis and heavy-duty packaging in steel constructions; water-resistant glued special packaging plywood combined with steel is used. On more than 5500 m² of heated storage and packaging halls, IVG offers hall storage, rack storage and picking storage. In addition, the company handles container stowage with load securing and SOLAS calculations, customs clearance, document preparation, dangerous goods services as well as complete sea freight, air freight and rail transport handling by rail, truck, inland waterway vessel, sea-going vessel or aircraft, including disassembly and installation in the destination country. Customers include industrial companies from mechanical engineering and the export business.
