About IVM Chemicals

IVM Chemicals GmbH is the German subsidiary of the Italian IVM Group headquartered in Milan and is engaged in the filling/packaging and distribution of the Croma Lacke brand. The brand traces back to Croma Laboratorium, founded more than 75 years ago in Nagold. The product range comprises standard wood lacquers based on nitro-cellulose, polyurethane and water, UV lacquers (100% UV, water-based) and UV oils for spray and roller application, wood stains as well as special products such as polyester, special and effect lacquers and antibacterial lacquers. Production takes place at Intercoating in Parona (Italy), the group's largest manufacturing site for wood lacquers with an annual capacity of 200,000 tonnes. The group produces around 80,000 tonnes per year with revenue of 250–300 Mio. € (2019) and employs around 900 staff, of which approximately 150–200 work in research and development, with R&D accounting for more than 8% of revenue. Customers include the furniture and parquet industry, staircase construction, interior fitting as well as window and door manufacturing; the group is represented with subsidiaries in Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Greece and Poland and is present through distributors in 70 further countries.
