About us
IVM Meyer GmbH was founded in 1988 and manufactures mechanical parts and assemblies at its site in Überlingen on Lake Constance for customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Its range of services includes machining production through turning, milling, EDM as well as waterjet and micro cutting, complemented by welded assemblies and the assembly of mechatronic assemblies. Materials processed include steels, stainless steels and engineering plastics; surface treatment is carried out in-house through wet and powder coating, electroplating, gold plating, electropolishing, blasting and anodizing. The company also supports its customers with feasibility analyses, material selection and the choice of suitable manufacturing processes to achieve process reliability and cost optimization in product manufacturing. A quality assurance agreement governs the requirements placed on suppliers, including traceability and access to the production facility by authorities such as the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (German Federal Aviation Office).
