About IWand
IWand is a manufacturer of modular room divider systems based in Birstein. The system consists of vertical slats made of thermally treated pine (thermo-pine) from Scandinavia, which are joined without tools via a patented plug-in system made of hard-anodised aluminium. The slats with an elliptical cross-section (42 × 170 mm) are available in heights from 40 to 410 cm; custom sizes are manufactured on request. Cork is inset on the foot side, ensuring a non-slip stand and floor protection. Production is carried out according to customer-specific configuration of length, colour and design elements; the system can be used free-standing and stable, with optional floor and ceiling fixings available. Fields of application include offices, trade fairs, gastronomy, hotels, public places and private living areas, for indoor and outdoor use. The owner is Iwan Laumann, a carpenter with over 15 years of professional experience and a qualification as a crafts design master.
