In September 2018, a sales process was initiated for IWM Automation. As this could not be concluded with an economically sensible result and incoming orders declined significantly due to the deteriorated market environment, the Administrative Board of MAX Automation SE announced on 23.09.2019 the wind-down of the site. According to the company, no recovery of the order situation was expected for the next two to three years. Legal form and register: GmbH (conversion from IWM-Automation GmbH & Co.
