IWS Industrie-Wartungs-Systeme is a owner-managed company founded in 1993 and based in Pleinfeld (Middle Franconia), specializing in sealing technology and industrial maintenance. The company manufactures plastic parts according to drawing or sample as turned and milled parts made of engineering and high-performance plastics such as PA, POM, PETP, PE, PVC, PTFE, PPS and PEEK. On special lathes, sealing rings, groove rings, shaft seals and wipers are adapted to the respective application in diameters up to 2000 mm. Also produced in-house are wear parts made from friction-modified plastic compounds with improved friction values and longer service lives. The product range includes mechanical seals, packings, O-rings, flat and universal seals as well as maintenance products; IWS is the representative of CHETRA mechanical seals in Northern Bavaria. Customers come from industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage industry, mechanical engineering, power generation and shipping; N-ERGIE has been a customer since 1973.
