IWT Infrarot Wärmetechnik GmbH, based in Limeshain-Hainchen (Hesse), manufactures infrared emitter fields for industrial applications of all kinds and engineers complete infrared systems including peripherals, switchgear and controls. The systems are used, among other things, for drying painted or powder-coated components, for activating resins in CFRP and GRP components, and for tempering plastics. For the automotive industry, applications such as spot repair, partial-surface drying, cavity preservation and heating of add-on parts for improved assembly are implemented. All common emitter variants are available in the company's own pilot plant; based on the customer's materials, the best emitter type, the required power output and the ideal arrangement are determined. The range of services extends from engineering through manufacturing to assembly, commissioning, staff training as well as maintenance and servicing of the systems – assembly and commissioning are carried out domestically and worldwide.
