About JDT

J. D. Theile GmbH & Co. KG (JDT) is a German steel processing company founded in 1819 in Schwerte, specializing in the manufacture of round steel chains, lifting and lashing equipment as well as accessories, complemented by automation technology. The depth of manufacturing covers the entire process from material comminution through the forging process, machining technology, welding technology, heat treatment and surface technology to final inspection and shipping. Products generally consist of 100% steel and are manufactured in grades 8 (NORM8), 10 (ENORM) and 12 (MAXNORM). The portfolio of single-unit and series production serves, among others, industry, mining, offshore, wind power and load securing; in addition, CE-compliant special designs, contract manufacturing and robot-based automation solutions are offered. The headquarters and production are located at the Schwerte site.
