About us

J. Horstmann GmbH & Co. KG is a medium-sized plant and machinery engineering company founded in 1966, headquartered in Hörstel in the Münsterland region. The company plans, designs and manufactures custom conveying technology for unit load and bulk material: roller and chain conveyors, pallet lifts, belt and band conveyors, corrugated edge conveyors, material distributors, magnetic separators, belt scales as well as automatic truck loading systems and automation technology (robotics). Manufacturing comprises machining on automatic lathes and milling machines, sheet metal working with shears, press brake, plasma and flame cutting up to 200 mm sheet thickness, welding (MIG-MAG) as a certified welding specialist company according to DIN EN 1090, and painting in an electrostatic spray booth. Design is carried out in 3D with Solid Works. On the 20,000 sqm site, crane systems allow unit weights of up to 10 t. With around 25 employees, complete projects are realized from planning to commissioning including maintenance and spare parts service.
