J.M.V. – Jakob Mining Vehicles GmbH (JMV), based in Fulda, specializes in special-purpose vehicles for the mining industry. The company develops and produces electric light commercial vehicles for mining and converts vehicles for underground and open-pit mining use (upfitting). In addition, JMV builds rescue and emergency response vehicles for special operations, show vehicles and corporate vehicles. The company can look back on more than 40 years of experience and has delivered over 1500 combustion-engine vehicles to mining companies in Germany. In addition, JMV offers technical in-house training, technical support as well as after-sales and spare parts service, and pursues the Mining Mobility as a Service (MMaaS) concept as an approach to sustainable transport solutions in mining. With the fully electric JMV TERRACHARGE model, whose world premiere is announced for May 2026 in Lisbon, the offering is also aimed at defense forces.
