About Schmedt
Schmedt is a Hamburg-based supplier of bookbinding supplies and, under its own Prä brand, manufactures machines and tools for the production, finishing and preservation of hardcover books. The product range includes case-making machines (PräDeck, PräKant, PräDeka XL, barcode-controlled Cover-1 system), machines for book block production such as fan glue binders, endpaper gluing machines and book block rounding devices, as well as hot foil stamping presses and cutting machines.
