J.v.G. technology GmbH is a provider of turnkey solutions for the manufacture of solar modules. The company supplies PV production lines in various capacity classes – from 25 MW to more than 1,200 MW of annual capacity – and thereby implements complete solar factories from planning through to commissioning. The service portfolio includes feasibility studies, technical design and line configuration, material procurement, module and factory design, technology transfer, staff training, ramp-up support, and long-term service after commissioning. In addition, refurbished systems and stock equipment are offered. Proprietary technologies such as DESERT® and TROPIC® address extreme environmental conditions with high heat resistance, moisture resistance and anti-soiling properties against sand and dust; this is complemented by busbar technology (DESERT® +12) and PID-free module technology. The company works on a project basis for customers in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia and originates from Bavarian mechanical engineering. Founder-led support and customer-specifically configured lines are at the core of the working approach.

DESERT® & TROPIC® module technology
Developed for extreme environments such as desert heat, high humidity and sandstorms, with high temperature resistance and anti-soiling properties against sand and dust.
Diamond DESERT® film
Lamination film with moisture resistance, used for the lamination of solar modules for hot and humid climates.
Busbar technology (DESERT® +12)
Reduces the shaded area on the solar cell and thereby increases the yield of the modules.
PID FREE module technology
Potential-induced degradation is avoided for DESERT® and TROPIC® modules.
