About JACKON Insulation

JACKON Insulation GmbH, based in Arendsee (Saxony-Anhalt), produces extruded polystyrene rigid foam (XPS) to DIN EN 13164 and from it the product families JACKODUR (XPS thermal insulation) and JACKOBOARD (construction boards for bathroom design). The portfolio covers perimeter insulation, inverted roof and floor slab insulation, insulating shuttering as well as fine-tolerance boards (FT/FTR/FTS) for industrial applications such as sandwich elements, door inserts, motorhome and refrigerated vehicle construction. Production is by XPS extrusion followed by mechanical processing: milling of surfaces, groove profiles (FTR), punching (FTS), long-edge welding for extra-wide boards up to 1,500 x 4,000 mm and custom cutting from smallest series. The materials used are polystyrene granulate, recycled polystyrene (rGPPS) and the biopolymer lignin; HFO-1234ze is used as blowing agent. In addition to construction, the company supplies the industrial, furniture and trade fair sectors as well as vehicle manufacturing, supported by BIM data, tender texts and technical consulting.
