About us
JÄGER Metallverarbeitungs GmbH is a second-generation family business based in Barbing near Regensburg, led by managing directors Benedikt Jäger (Technical Director) and Johann Jäger (Commercial Director). As a contract manufacturer, the company produces customised metal and sheet metal parts, ready-to-install welded and functional assemblies, as well as electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic complete systems for the automation, conveying technology, and assembly and inspection technology sectors. The value chain ranges from laser cutting on a Lynix FL3015 4kW fibre laser, through CNC bending and folding on two press brakes and mechanical CNC machining, to sandblasting including stainless steel, and painting on two painting lines and a large-scale paint booth, including seawater-resistant finishes. This is complemented by assembly including functional tests, just-in-time delivery with an own vehicle fleet, and traceability of product data via labelling. As an external design team, JÄGER also handles the manufacturing-oriented development and optimisation of components, assemblies and complete systems – from prototype to series production.
