About JB Automation
JB Automation GmbH, based in Bochum, is a provider of automation solutions based on Siemens PLC controls. Since 1998, the company has delivered PLC automation for airport baggage handling systems, logistics centers, postal and parcel sorting systems, as well as for steelworks and coking plants. Its services range from planning and modular software development on its own EPA platform to virtual commissioning (emulation) and structured on-site or remote commissioning. CAD and planning data are imported into a unified engineering model; motor controllers and drive systems can be exchanged without redesigning the core logic. The company implements both new installations and modernizations of existing systems (greenfield and brownfield) and, according to its own statements, has completed more than 30 projects in over 15 countries.
