About Jebens
Jebens GmbH, headquartered in Korntal-Münchingen, manufactures flame-cut parts and ready-to-install welded assemblies in steel for heavy machinery, mobile crane construction and the defense sector. Using oxy-fuel and plasma cutting on ten cutting machines, the company produces cut blanks with thicknesses from 8 to 1,100 mm, widths up to 5,000 mm and piece weights up to 55 t (up to 70 t with mobile cranes). As a system supplier, the company produces complex welded assemblies up to 160 t to EN 1090-2 EXC4 and ISO 3834-2, including machining, annealing, straightening, blasting, painting and assembly. The warehouse stocks 30,000 t of hot-rolled heavy plate and slabs – from structural steels per EN 10025-2 to high-strength fine-grain structural steels S690 and S965. Founded in 1950, the company processes 60,000 t of steel per year and, since 1990, has been a 100% subsidiary of Dillinger Hütte AG (SHS Group). For protection and weapon systems, Jebens manufactures parts from DIFENDER armor steel with defense-technology approval (DIN 2303 Q2 BK1), including assembly of hydraulics and electrics.
