Precision since 1970 – DNA of precision manufacturing

Jenaer Gewindetechnik GmbH manufactures ball screws (recirculating ball screw spindles), miniature ball screws, worms, precision gear racks and sliding screw drives as well as drive-related equipment such as linear guides, carrier units and X-Y tables at its Jena-Göschwitz site. Production ranges from prototype to series and includes precision machining, in-house heat treatment, the construction of its own special measuring technology as well as measurement, inspection and assembly; a repair service and spare parts supply for ball screws round out the portfolio. With more than 100 employees, the company supplies the machinery and machine tool industry, the semiconductor, optical and medical industries, aerospace as well as the automotive and electronics industries. The parent company KURODA Precision Industries Ltd., founded in 1925, with group revenue of around 19.5 billion yen and 982 employees, has owned the Jena-based company as a 100% subsidiary since 2012. Through its US sales subsidiary JENATEC Inc., the company is internationally present.
