About JET Schaumstoff-Formteile
JET Schaumstoff-Formteile GmbH has been developing and producing moulded parts from particle foam since 1973, and since 1980 at its site in Hüllhorst in East Westphalia. All common particle foams are processed: EPS including graphite-containing Neopor, EPP, the hybrid polymer Piocelan and polyethylene foam. Production takes place in three steps: pre-foaming, intermediate storage and moulded-part foaming with water steam; EPS densities range from 16 to 200 kg/m³, and the moulding machines accommodate tools from 400 × 300 to 1,900 × 810 mm. In addition, CNC prototypes and CNC cut-outs are offered along with assembly, labelling and palletizing, plus a standard range with more than 90 standard items ex stock. The products are used, among other things, in automotive, the metal industry, heating and heat pump technology, the furniture industry, protective equipment, gastronomy and construction. Since 2018 JET has been part of the VELUX Group; its own biomass combined heat and power plant supplies process steam and heating energy free of fossil fuels.

Materials and Processes
Expanded Polystyrene
Lightweight, impact-absorbing and thermally insulating standard material with densities from 16 to 200 kg/m³, available in colour, antistatic or flame-retardant grades on request.
Graphite-containing EPS
Graphite-containing EPS for insulation applications, capable of meeting passive house standards.
Expanded Polypropylene
Multiple-use resilient foam with densities of 20–250 g/l for reusable load carriers, protective equipment and technical housings.
Hybrid polymer (PS core with PP or PE surface)
Hybrid polymer with high stiffness at low density and tight tolerances, used among other things in reusable and automotive cycles as well as food contact.
Polyethylene foam
Closed-cell, moisture-resistant foam as cut-outs and milled contours without tooling costs, ideal for small series and tool inlays.
