About Jetpack Cognition Lab
Jetpack Cognition Lab is a robotics company founded in Berlin in 2019 that develops and manufactures companion robots for direct human interaction. The company designs and produces its robots entirely in Berlin, in small quantities with high-quality components and its own software standards. The product range comprises two in-house developments, flatcat and Bakiwi – pet-like robots that respond to touch and are designed as embodied AI companions. The technology is designed as open source to enable sustainable operation, customization and maintenance over the long term. The company takes responsibility for its products and repairs them promptly and free of charge. In addition, Jetpack advises professionals and artists on social, sensitive robotics and intrinsically motivated AI robots, and operates a lab for collaborations.
