KG, based in Thyrnau near Passau, is a contract manufacturer and mechanical engineering company specialising in the production of mechanical engineering constructions of all kinds – from simple cutting to complex, ready-to-install engineering components. The manufacturing range includes CNC milling (3-axis and 5-axis as well as large milled parts and 3D/5D milling), CNC turning, surface, internal cylindrical and external cylindrical grinding, EDM, welding and welded constructions, painting as well as heat and surface treatment. In its own assembly hall, individual components are assembled into complex machines, production lines or ready-to-install engineering components. In addition, the company offers engineering services in special-purpose machinery, jig and fixture construction and toolmaking. Machining is carried out on modern CNC machines and using metalworking processes; parts are produced in metal as single pieces or in series, from small parts to large milled components. A CAD programming workstation connects administration and production, and a coordinate measuring machine serves quality assurance. As a training company, the company operates as a supplier to general and special-purpose machinery engineering.
